You’re imperfect, and you’re wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging. ~Brene Brown
4. Where do I need to allow myself grace?
I love myself for who I am at this moment, usually...
What happens is that when I leave this moment and start thinking about the future, anxiety rises, overwhelms and rules the space around me. It drives impatience, steers stress, it makes the present moment miserable to be with. As I sit here with my eyes closed allowing compassion to enter into my body, mind and breath, I come back to the present moment. The space that grace lives. Feeling this shift, I am reminded of something that I said in class earlier this week. Something I've never said before.
Fall in LOVE with your breath!
Listening to my own words, I believed them! I want to live a life where I fall in love with my breath as often as I fall in love with Sean, with teaching yoga, with learning new things, and watching others do what they love. It is not until today, writing this blog, that I see why I said those words. Because it is exactly the place where I need to give myself grace, patience, compassion, so I can continuously fall in love with my breath. Even when life gets overwhelming, constant and seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel...all I need to do is Fall In Love With My Breath to allow grace back into my life.
Where can you allow more grace in your life?
I am on the journey to create joy and live with full happiness. And my wish for you is to do the same!
